My problem was eating the wrong foods and struggling with weight issues.
I chose the coaching with you because it seemed healthy, sensible, and doable. You also backed your coaching with research and interesting articles. You also used experiential exercises/activities which helped not only my mind but my heart to be involved with the learning.
I eat healthier and am more mindful about the choices I make every day. I also am mindful of my emotions and the food I choose. As you have said, it is about the food but it is not about the food—that weight issues are more than food.
You are a great role-model. Because you shared your own journey and growth, I did not feel alone in my struggles. Your humor, encouragement, and non-judgmental way of teaching helped me on my journey.
