Conscious Aging – A Portal To Your True Self
As I approach my 52nd year of life experience on this earth and my first born has left for college, I find myself reflecting more and more on my personal beliefs about aging and health. And while I do appreciate all my nutritional knowledge, I’m feeling extra grateful for the contemplative practices and emotional repair tools that have become part of my daily self care.
Mid life and later life inevitably bring changes in our physical bodies, roles and capabilities. So if we remain identified with these limited phenomena, if we know ourselves to be nothing more than our body, body image, job, achievements etc., we miss an opportunity to have a level of vitality and peace that only comes from a deeper experience of our true self.
